Coaching during the workouts this coming week in my fit app we talk about visualization. Want to see my first visions? š
Even I have cringed a little looking at themā¦. but IT ALL HAPPENED BETTER THAN I COULD IMAGINEāØ
We have to remember that visualization is a regular normal practice for professionals. Pretend like I have just handed you that game tape to take home and watch, to visualize yourself running the race of life as your most fit self š©·
Visualization is a scientifically-backed technique that involves creating mental images of desired outcomes to help you achieve your goals. It's a powerful mind-body technique that can help you:
āØImprove performance
Athletes use visualization to rehearse their movements and prepare for worst-case scenarios.
āØIncrease confidence
Visualization can help you believe you've already achieved your goal, which can boost your confidence and motivation.
āØImprove recovery
Visualization can help speed up recovery after a brain injury by strengthening the mind-muscle connection.
āØEnhance well-being
Visualization can help you cultivate positive life changes and enhance your well-being.
Here are some tips for using visualization:
āØMake it detailed: The more detailed your visualizations are, the stronger the imprint on your subconscious mind.
āØIncorporate all five senses: Use all your senses to create a vivid image of what you want to achieve.
āØFocus on what you want: Focus on what you want to happen, not what you don't want to happen.
āØPractice daily: Practice your visualizations daily in a quiet place.
āØAct accordingly: Visualization is a motivational tool, but you must also take action to achieve your goals.
