Just like we memorize self talk … have you memorized the way Jesus told us to pray?
Sunday Self talk- This is how we should pray- an easy guide 🔥
“After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.”
Matthew 6:9-10, 12-13 KJV

From Studying self talk and meditation I understand the massive importance on memorizing truth. Memorize this prayer so that if you are ever caught in a moment of temptation or you just don’t even know what to do… you will know exactly what Jesus would have us pray.
And as a mom, I want my kids to know what to believe in, their own abilities, standards, and if they are not taught…. Who is teaching them?
I will tell you. My girls would all naturally be taught by media and entertainment or other friends. I don’t love that. And that is my reality. So a few years ago I STARTED playing self talk and saying the SAME prayer over them each day. And now guess what?!? Reese told me she get together with her sisters without me at their dads house to say the Lord’s Prayer even when I am not with them because it is memorized and natural for them as just part of their bed time routine. This is what I wanted most. For them on their own, when I am not with them (which turns out will be without us 90% of their lives 😭) to be able to think on what is good. This makes me sooooooo happy. I am sharing this because you CAN start this at any age. Start reading and reciting the SAME thing daily until it is memorized, and if you are struggling with this listen to self talk for building faith everyday for at least 21 days (when science shows our brain hard wires in new programming- God designed this).

What a beautiful world it is for us who can
focus their thoughts on “Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.”
Philippians 4:8 KJV
