Interesting… Roxys school verse. This week was the same verse that was spoken at my grandma’s service….

Thoughts…. if this is true.. And nothing can separate us from His love… then we have NO REASON to be anything but so excited and thankful everyday👏👏👏
Then… hear thoughts that I have had for a long time and I’m going to continue to share them in different ways. I also posted them to the community chat…
Unfortunately, negativity, fear and tragedy sells and gets attention. I’ve been struggling with this for years. Trying to make being a positive force so that people feeling free and confident gets “more attention/excitement”… but with research suggesting a significant portion of our thoughts are negative if you havent intentionally decided to train your mind with positive Self Talk, with some sources indicating up to 75-80% of daily thoughts being negative, and 95% repetitive its not an easy mission, our natural mind is comfortable with negativity. I want to be different. The positive and good news IS happening, and it’s happening in our community, in my app, and all over the world too.
I can mourn and still be positive, I actually can’t wrap my head around why anyone would want to be negative, critical, or hateful. I know this is because of what I allow in my mind, what I read, listen to and practice. It’s a choice. And when I get overwhelmed by whats in news or on social- I turn it off- not because I’m going to pretend it doesn’t exist, but because the more we read it, we are being programmed to buy it, because by reading it over and over it’s like meditating on it, which then is hardwiring your brain. But until you understand that you don’t know that you are being programmed, whether you are reading something positive or negative you are being programmed. So if our programming is up to us, what are you going to focus on today?
Spend a few minutes today for your own mental health and write down a few things that you are thankful for. I had to do this yesterday and this morning again right away. It’s not a weakness, it’s a strength to be able to be in control of what you allow in your mind, what you think about.
Imagine over 2000 years ago it was written “fix your mind on things above, not on earthly things” (Col 3:2). So why are we all caught up in the swirling negativity that is trying to keep us trapped when we have already been told to fix our minds on things above?!?
What do you choose to set your mind on this week? @Everyone

My favorite verse 🩷
